
Back in the late 80s, ice cream just wasn’t being
taken seriously. Desserts like Black Forest Gateaux,
Jam Roly Poly and Syrup Sponge seemed to
dominate menus.
Then in 1987 the founders of Yarde Farm decided
enough was enough and it was time to elevate
deliciously creamy, pure indulgent ice cream as
a dessert choice. 23 years and a whole lot of
mouthfuls later, Yarde Farm has become the
West Country’s ice cream of choice.
Over the years we’ve won many awards for our
mouth-watering ice cream, including the much-coveted
grade ‘A’ accreditation from the British Retail Consortium
for food manufacturing. But our most prestigious award
was in 2002 - we were finally crowned Ice Cream Alliance
‘Champions of Champions’. That is akin to winning the
ice cream equivalent of an Olympic Gold medal!
Our ice cream and sorbets are made in the heart
of the West Country where we produce 1.5 million litres of
ice cream a year. With a range of over 60 mouth-watering
flavours there is certainly plenty to stimulate your taste
buds. Our luxury range are all made with nothing but Fresh
Cream, real fruit and of course the best quality natural
ingredients including clotted cream in selected flavours.
There’s also a sumptuous soft scoop selection too.
But for those who still love those classic 1980s desserts
you can double the pleasure by just adding a lovely
dollop of Yarde Farm ice cream on top! Scrumptious.
